When can I start using Sealing Gel?
Apply right after removing your artist’s covering (usually 2–24 hours post-session). Always follow your artist’s timeline, but the first days are when aftercare matters most.
Is it safe for sensitive skin?
Yes. Our formula is fragrance-free, hypoallergenic, and dermatologically tested on tattooed skin. It’s designed for even the most reactive skin types.
How often should I apply Sealing Gel?
Apply a thin layer 2-3 times daily for the first 5-10 days. Less is more - the gel works by absorbing potent actives and creating a protective membrane, not by heavy application.
Will it feel greasy or stain clothes?
Never. The lightweight gel absorbs in 3–5 minutes, leaving no residue, no stickiness, and no stains like traditional tattoo aftercare creams.
Is this suitable for all tattoo sizes?
Sealing Gel works for all styles and sizes. For larger, heavily inked pieces, we recommend 2 tubes and pairing with our Soothing Tattoo Cream for extended coverage. (We include a 10ml Soothing Cream sachet in every box for extra comfort during the peeling phase)
What happens during the peeling phase?
When peeling begins (usually days 3-7), use the included 10ml Soothing Cream sachet for extra comfort. This is especially helpful for larger tattoos or heavily inked areas that need additional moisture.
Can I combine Sealing Gel with other products?
Yes — but avoid petroleum-based balms (like Vaseline) that may suffocate skin and push out pigment.
