When should I start using the kit?
Have it ready before your appointment - not after. The first application of SEALING Gel happens the moment you remove your artist's covering, usually within 2–24 hours of your session. There's no worse time to be scrambling for aftercare than day one with a fresh tattoo.
Do I really need both products or can I just buy one?
Each product does a different job at a different stage. SEALING Gel protects fresh ink during the first 10 days. DEFENDING Cream preserves color and contours daily once your tattoo is fully recovered. You can use either one alone but together they cover every stage from fresh ink to long-term care with no gaps. That's why the kit exists.
Can I use them at the same time?
Not simultaneously - sequentially. SEALING Gel is for the first 10 days on fresh ink. DEFENDING Cream begins once your tattoo is fully recovered, around day 14. The SOOTHING Cream sachet included in your SEALING Gel box bridges the two stages during the peeling phase. Each product has its moment.
Why not just use Vaseline or a pharmacy cream?
Vaseline and generic pharmacy creams weren't designed for tattooed skin. They create a heavy, occlusive layer that can soften the skin excessively, which may cause pigment to shift before it fully sets.
Our formulas are lightweight, breathable, and built specifically for tattooed skin - tested on it, refined for it.

What if I react to one of the products?
Both formulas are dermatologically tested, hypoallergenic, fragrance-free or phthalate-free, and made with 98.5–99% natural ingredients.
That said, any cosmetic product can cause a reaction in sensitive individuals.
We always recommend testing a small amount on an inconspicuous area first.
If you experience any redness or discomfort, stop use and consult your artist or a dermatologist.
What happens after I finish the kit?
DEFENDING Cream becomes your permanent daily ritual - a 200ml tube lasts approximately 6–8 weeks with daily use.
